Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Black Swans Undercover website (blackswansundercover.com) and the Black Swans Field Companion mobile application, published by Got Counseling LLC. The app is built so that your private work stays private — stored on your device, and nowhere else.

What the app collects

Nothing. The Black Swans Field Companion does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not transmit your entries anywhere. Everything you write — workbook entries, incident logs, tracker data, and insights — is stored locally on your device only. We cannot read it, and we do not receive it.

Subscriptions and payments

Full Access subscriptions are purchased through, billed by, and managed entirely by the app marketplace you use — Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the marketplace's own terms and privacy policy. The app's Terms of Use is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Deleting your data

Because your entries exist only on your device, deleting the app deletes the data. There is no copy on any server to request or erase.

The website

blackswansundercover.com is an informational site. It does not require registration, does not run advertising, and does not sell or share personal information. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operation of the site, as virtually all websites do.

Links to other services

The site and app link to book retailers and related services (for example, Amazon and other bookstores). Once you follow a link, that service's own privacy policy applies.

Children

The app and site are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children — or, as described above, from anyone.

Not therapy

The app and site are educational and self-reflection resources. They are not psychotherapy, do not provide diagnosis, and are not a substitute for care from a licensed mental-health professional. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
